A Vision of Success

FulfillmentGlobal Beat

“Success requires a mindset and vision in order to achieve it. Once you have that vision, you’ll realize everything you do works toward that vision, and ultimately, your success.” - Marcus Gonzales

A vision of success can be defined as the bigger framework of what you want your life to become, a set of achievements and accomplishments you aim to achieve now or in the future.

Albert Einstein said, “Try not to become a man of success. Rather become a man of value."

Most of my community defines success differently, such as being wealthy, being rich in materialistic objects, associating with many well-known people, owning a lot of degrees or trophies, or having a lot of followers or activities on their social media pages. In my perception, those are all accomplishments, the result of specific goals they achieved by working on them.

Accomplishment is often connected to success. However, they have different meanings. Accomplishments result when we attempt to reach specific ambitions, and success is the positive consequence of an achieved goal.

From my point of view, the meaning of being successful goes far beyond the common definitions. To me, success is having a positive and healthy lifestyle, working on your own, not giving up, and accepting when failures comes. True growth in life cannot be characterized by the above-named factors, but rather the amount of people that are capable of living better as a result of what you have constructed, the legacy you are leaving for others. This is what really being successful is.
