Here to Help Us

AI has been a topic that has appeared many times on newspaper covers and in the news headlines. People think that it’s scary because over the years it develops more and increasingly replaces the human being, reaching the point that it can understand emotions, like happiness, sadness, anger…

It surprises us more and more with new updates that consumers want to try and give their opinion, also they spend a lot of money buying new phones to see their new updates and then accumulate more and more to the point of reaching the same result. Human beings are very consumerist and then blame large companies for selling their products at astronomical prices.

In 2016 the first humanoid robot, Sophia, was activated, and all the citizens got scared, thinking that she would kill all the humans. She was created with the objective to help people to understand the new technology and how to use it correctly without problems with the authorities. The new AI that has recently appeared is ChatGPT. For those who don’t know what it is, ChatGPT is a chat with an AI that can help you find new recipes, help you with your homework, and many other things that a person would need help with.

The bad thing about AI is that people use it to commit bad acts. The police are trying to catch these bad people and send them to jail. Although we don’t want to admit it, AI has been with us for many years, it’s just that in this century it has become more famous and used. In our world there are eight billion people; some of them have twisted ideas, and the others are normal people who are just thinking about their lives in which they don’t have the enough time to think about doing these types of acts.

Maybe in a couple of years AI will give school lessons to young people, or maybe it will be the teacher’s assistant. We don’t know what is going to happen tomorrow, even less do we know what will happen in five or ten years. To conclude, this world needs urgent change, starting with thinking about our actions and thinking about the consequences. When are we going to have a period of time without misuse of AI that scares the world? When will there be a world with people who don’t have twisted ideas? When will people accept that AI is here to stay and to help us? When will they realize that maybe AI is our solution?
