Is the Past More Valuable than the Future?

Is the past more valuable than the future?

There are a lot of things we would like to try even if they require a little bit of risk. But does society value what you want to try? Or even accept it? Now and then, two words that convey hundreds of meanings for every single person that hears them. Unfortunately, most communities focus on the past more than the present or even the future.

There are lots of things that we have passion about trying, but the community that you live in may see them in a negative way. When someone wants to do something in his own life, he always looks for society's opinion, and that’s a sad thing to hear. But what’s more painful is that most societies judge a person from his past, and that’s the problem. Even if it was a long time ago, or even if it was a rumor, they don’t believe that people can change their mindset or personality. What about society’s horizon for the future? Most people wish each other luck, especially if someone wants to achieve a specific goal. But there are also a lot of people who just want to let you drop out from anything you hope to do by criticizing you, or maybe by making fun of your goals or anything else. But the most important thing is you mustn’t listen to them, just forget what they’ve said and continue your journey.

Nevertheless, some societies look at this case in a different way, they give loads of chances to anyone who has made any kind of mistake, and in my opinion that’s the right way. As a popular quote says, “Accept your past without regrets, handle your present with confidence, and face your future without fear.”
