It's in Our Hands
Young people are raised in an age when social media is one of the most important things in life, but does social media have an effect on young people’s lives? Yes, it does!
HOW?
Being exposed to a lot of knowledge, you can join group chats that discuss new topics; this can help you learn new things and be able to associate with people around the globe.
You can start a new friendship on social media and have someone to talk to.
You can join campaigns that share positivity around the world.
But that doesn’t mean that social media doesn’t have any cons -- it does!
Sitting on social media for a long time does take us away from our family and having fun with them. Social media is not real life, it’s a virtual life that takes our time and a lot of our mind from us!
A lot of people in the world are now addicted to social media. This is an issue that needs to be solved, and this is how:
1. Go on walks with your friends and family or your pet, if you have one.
2. Start a new hobby and spend more time on it, like playing football, reading books, etc.
3. Spend more time with yourself, thinking about your life, your goals, and what you want to achieve.
4. Put a screen time limiter on your electronics. This can help you manage your time much better.
Remember, everything has cons and pros!
And it’s in our hands to gain and not lose.
