United and Unbreakable

Unity and DivisionGlobal Beat

A community needs to stay united in order to have a bright future. Without unity, harmony, and peace, it would be easy for an outsider to attack or to divide and rule. Let’s take, for example, India. Two centuries ago India was divided into tiny kingdoms. As our nation was not united and people were against each other, it was easy for the British to rule our nation.

Without unity, anyone can break you. Therefore unity becomes an integral base for every community.

But how do we build unity? Who will teach us to be united?

The answer is very simple…no one teaches us to be united or the fundamentals of togetherness. It comes from within. It comes as a ripple and takes millions of people along with it.

As for what unites my community? The answer is easily visible: the belief that if we can stay together, we can overcome all difficulties. Tthe fact that we know each other well enough to trust each other adds to our being united. Our society is prospering as we speak to one another; make new friends, and are open to different thoughts and opinions. We connect with people around us and, on a market day, we all meet and speak to new people and chatter with our friends and family. Thus we know more people, making it easy for us to stay together and to be united.

Being united is nothing but: being joined together politically, for a common purpose, or by common feelings.

As Albus Dumbledore said in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: “We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided.”

My community strives to be one and unbreakable.
