Summer, oh sweet summer,
Golden sun and skies so blue,
Days so long and warm,
Nature's beauty all anew.

The sound of waves crashing,
On the sandy shore,
Children laughing and playing,
Their happiness I adore.

The smell of fresh cut grass,
And blooming flowers in the air,
The taste of juicy watermelon,
And ice cream without a care.

The feeling of warm sunshine,
On your skin so soft and bare,
The joy of lazy afternoons,
Without a worry or a care.

Summer, you are a time of magic,
Of adventure, joy, and fun,
A season to be cherished,
Until the next time you come.
