A Helping Hand to Reach the Stars
Sometimes when I stargaze, a lot of dreams appear before me, followed by desires, but the problem is I don’t know what I actually want.
Often I feel my dreams are just a fantasy that I can’t make into reality….
There are a lot of paths in our world, but I must be wise enough to know which path I’ll follow. It’s not about what other people want me to be, it’s about my passion and what I want to become in the future.
The days are passing with the blink of an eye and I must decide what road I want to take; I need a helping hand to reach the stars. A friend once told me that I’ve become more intellectual than I used to be, and I realized that I had found someone who could help me.
He tried to help me go up the stairs step by step, by planning and coming up with methods. First, I must know what characteristics define me and what things I actually love, to see an opportunity that I may succeed in and try to learn lessons from the mistakes that I’ve made.
I’ve started to become wiser; I’ve started climbing the ladder, started to realize where my passion is taking me. Every step I’m taking is making me more experienced. I’m beginning to know what I really want, which path I want to enter.
But I’m facing stubborn waves, circumstances are breaking me, friends have left me, and I’ve fallen off the ladder that my only loyal friend has made for me. I’ve been broken, and I was so hurt. I’ve tried to start with a new beginning, but my friend told me to calm down. At that moment, I knew that whatever it takes, I won’t leave this person. I’ve realized that life is like the sea, sometimes it keeps calm and sometimes you have to fight to surf the waves. My friend started making plans from the beginning.
I was so nervous at that time I knew that without a helping hand I could not get out of a difficult circumstance. I was so interested in school and I wished that I could finish in first place at the end of the semester. When I told my friend that dream, he said “I’ll help you with everything you want.”
I began studying so hard, trying to be extraordinary, putting all of my effort into my homework. I had to take a risk to achieve this goal. A lot of memories ran in front of my eyes, but I tried to forget all of the bad memories and avoid any malignant person. Challenge after challenge, I felt that I was being revived from all directions, feeling that I could make my dream come true…
My friend completed the plan and gave it to me. I started to implement the method step by step, and he tried to motivate, support, and help me as much as he could. I was also encouraged by all my relatives, but I can’t forget the goodness of my first friend.
The days flew by, and every step I took made me more enthusiastic about the future. Every step made me wiser about choosing which path I must enter. I started to be extraordinary among the other students. Remarkably, I became distinguished in a short time. I was amazed; I had started to make my dream come true, to reach the stars…
I was trying to not procrastinate at anything, I was trying to avoid any person who gave me any unconstructive criticism. I just wanted to implement the method as well as I could. I realized that I had found a friend who wishes me the best of luck, loves to give me advice, and wants to see me better than anyone. I’ve become more than better after I met this loyal person. I’ve started to reach the summit, to climb the ladder, to build new goals.
At the end of the semester, all the students bet that I would fail, but my friend decided to help me, to prove that I would never give in to the criticism that breaks my bones. I studied as hard as I could, to prove that I’m stronger than I was before.
The first one who was waiting for the result was my friend; he didn’t even care about his result. All the people who were waiting for the result were nervous, they just wanted me to pass all the subjects. Finally, I finished in first place. I couldn’t believe it. I won the bet. All of that happened because of my friend, who put everything aside and focused on helping me follow my dream.
