She Is at Peace
Her wrinkled eyelids close
As her last breaths are taken
She lets her mind wander
Wander into the unknown ahead
She is at peace
She greets her deceased loved ones
A smile spreads across her weathered face
As she caresses the faces of lost ones
Surrounded by a blissful glow from above
She is at peace
As the air slips away from her lifeless body
She feels nothing but the sense of happiness
Her journey is complete and she has found her place
Into the silence, she slowly fades away
She is at peace
