Hypothetical Question

Let’s say, hypothetically, someone was into you.
This person knows that when they’re feeling blue,
Murky green swirling round is cut with red,
With sunshine and light when you tilt their head
Up toward the sky, a smile slowly spreads,
When you see this person, you unravel all their threads. Hypothetically.

Let’s say, hypothetically, someone was into you.
And they’re not that into you,
It’s just
They file away all the memories you give to them and
Keep them in a box under their bed to take them in hand
When they get down and the green and blue creep back.
And they’re not that attached
It’s just
They know exactly where the box is
At all times.
Hypothetically.

Let’s say, hypothetically, someone was into you.
And they’re not that into you,
It’s just
They’re writing you a poem, which
Yeah, pretty much means they’re into you.

They know you have so much to give but the fact
Is this person, they don’t want all that
They want to give you what they have, all that they can
Want to walk around on quiet days and take your hand
They just want to share a cup of tea with you to sit and read
On the porch, they want to help clean you up whenever you bleed.

And they’re not that into you
It’s just that
Yeah,I guess they’re into you.

Hypothetically.
